For those of you who phone us Angela has now retired and Anne has
joined Julie to answer the phone and deal with your orders. Mary
is now looking after the daffodil collection and the frame yard and
preparing plants for the shows. |

n the garden winter is creeping in and the first snowdrops are out There
is always something to see.
Do call and
see us and help the St Margaret's Somerset Hospice.
Garden and nursery are open Mon-Friday 9am - 4pm- £2.
Limited plant sales but pre booked orders can be collected in season. |

Agapanthus Cyclamen coum

Plan for next summer's display and order your bulbs - the spring catalogue with full availability is
online. It
is now time to repot your lilies. Bring
pot grown Eucomis and evergreen agapanthus undercover for the
winter. Dead head the agapanthus to stop seedlings growing in the
middle of the plants - this is how they "change" colour.

We
are busy preparing for the spring sales. The daffodils and other
bulbs are
now planted and we are busy splitting up the perennials and potting
for the spring shows.

London February Show -
Snowdrops, reticulata iris and early daffodils
Malvern Spring Show,
Tulips, Alliums and iris - Pacific Coast and dwarf bearded. Chelsea
- 40th celebration
This is our 40th Chelsea flower show and will be our last so
come and see us on stand G6
Revisit spring with daffodils and tulips and also featuring our
large collection of Alliums and our own Pacific Coast Iris.

We are a working
nursery with an extensive display garden. All are open to visit.
The garden
is open every week day (£2 charity donation to St Margaret's Somerset
Hospice www.somerset-hospice.org.uk) 9am - 4pm, with limited plant
sales. Do come and see our full range of bulbs in a garden setting, as
well as the nursery beds.
In Winter our extensive collection of
snowdrops can be viewed, along with scented shrubs. In Spring there are thousands of daffodils,
In early summer the largest cistus in the world and
thousands of iris, in mid
summer there are daylilies & Agapanthus then in the autumn Crocosmia
& Colchicums and good autumn colour. Why not come and pay us a visit.
The garden has woodland, dry stream and
pond, parterre and herbaceous borders so there is plenty to see.
